We are pleased to present a comprehensive overview of the recent collaborative gathering hosted at Politecnico di Milano from June 12th to 14th, 2023, within the framework of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Innovative Training Network, IN-NOVA Project. This convergence united esteemed Doctoral Candidates and supervisors representing diverse partner entities, fostering a platform for knowledge dissemination and professional enhancement.
The central focus of the assembly revolved around technical workshops, wherein participants engaged in substantive discussions, sharing the latest advancements in their respective research domains. The inclusion of laboratory visits offered a firsthand encounter with cutting-edge research initiatives, underlining the commitment to staying abreast of contemporary developments.

Integral to the program was the dedicated attention to the cultivation of intersectorial soft skills. Workshops addressing pivotal non-technical proficiencies, including communication, project management, and interdisciplinary collaboration, sought to equip participants with a comprehensive skill set essential for their academic and professional trajectories.
While acknowledging the gravity of academic pursuits, the convocation encouraged an appreciation for the cultural and atmospheric offerings of Milan. The favorable weather conditions facilitated the exploration of the city's architectural and historical treasures, providing a conducive backdrop for social interaction and informal networking.
A concerted effort was made to augment professional connections and foster a sense of cohesion among entities and Doctoral Candidates through structured team-building activities. These initiatives were meticulously curated to promote collaboration and strengthen relationships beyond the immediate scope of the project.
In summary, the meeting at Politecnico di Milano underscored the commitment of the MSCA IN-NOVA Project partners to collaborative research, interdisciplinary learning, and the holistic development of emerging researchers. We extend our gratitude to all participants for their active engagement and anticipate continued achievements in the realms of academic excellence and innovative exploration.
