Braunschweig, Germany, 3-5 June 2024 - The vibrant city of Braunschweig recently hosted an important gathering for the IN-NOVA MSCA Doctoral Network, attracting leading minds in the field for three days of collaboration, learning, and innovation. This significant event brought together doctoral candidates and their supervisors to engage in a series of activities aimed at fostering academic and professional growth.

A highlight of the meeting was the visit to the prestigious German Aerospace Center (DLR). Participants had the unique opportunity to tour various high-tech laboratories specializing in acoustics, as well as an inedit visit to DLR's hangars. They also explored the renowned German-Dutch Wind Tunnel, an impressive facility pivotal for aeroacoustics research. The experience was further enriched by the flying simulators, where both doctoral candidates and supervisors engaged hands-on with cutting-edge technology, gaining invaluable insights into its practical applications.

The event featured an array of workshops that were designed to deepen the participants' understanding of critical topics in their field. These sessions covered techniques of Active Noise Control, methods for measuring the Sound Transmission Loss, and advanced system identification techniques using Laser Vibrometry. The workshops provided an interactive platform for participants to enhance their skills and knowledge, guided by leading experts.
